This long winter made us wait unusually long for the first asparagus to arrive. But this has only heightened our aniticipation. At last it is here. Our favourite is preparing it with Sauce Hollondaise, ham and tasty potatoes. This makes it also a feast for the eyes.
Accompanying it we recommend as 2012 Weißburgunder. The first nose already titlates one's palate. The grape's delicate and fruity aroma adequatly mirrors the asparagu's lightness and its nuttily flavour adds to the sauce's own delicious creaminess.
